1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Rydr& website and to the Rydr& web app and mobile apps (together, “Rydr&”). Rydr& is provided by Xoomtech (“we”, “us”). By using Rydr&, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
How we handle personal data is explained separately in our privacy policy.
2. Customers and users
Rydr& is sold to companies (“customers”), usually delivery and rider companies, under a separate agreement. People at those companies, including administrators, supervisors and riders, use Rydr& through accounts their company creates (“users”).
- If your company has signed an agreement with us, that agreement governs the service, fees and support. Where it conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.
- If you use Rydr& through your employer, your employer decides who has access and what is recorded. Questions about your records should go to them first.
3. Accounts and access
- Keep your sign-in details private, and do not let anyone else use your account.
- Tell your administrator or us straight away if you think your account has been misused.
- Customers are responsible for the roles and permissions they give their users, and for removing access when someone leaves.
- You must be at least 18 to use Rydr&.
4. Acceptable use
When using Rydr&, you must not:
- break any law, or use Rydr& to help someone else do so;
- enter records you know are false, such as fake check-ins, attendance or documents;
- use Rydr& to monitor people without a lawful reason, or to track anyone outside their working shifts;
- try to get into accounts, data or parts of the system you are not allowed to access;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the software, or scrape data from it;
- upload viruses or harmful code, or do anything that could disrupt the service for others.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, as explained in section 11.
5. Your company’s data
Data a customer puts into Rydr&, including its employees’ records, belongs to that customer. We use it only to provide Rydr& to them, as described in our privacy policy and in their agreement.
Customers are responsible for:
- having a lawful basis for the data they record, including rider location during shifts;
- telling their employees how Rydr& is used, including that location is shared while they are checked in;
- the accuracy of what they enter, and the decisions they make with it.
6. What Rydr& does not do
Rydr& is a tool that helps your team work. It does not replace your team’s judgement or your legal duties:
- No government filings. Rydr& does not submit anything to MOHRE, ICP, GPSSA or any other authority. It shows what matches and what does not, so your team can act.
- No money movement. Rydr& prepares payroll. Salaries are still paid through your bank or exchange house.
- No legal advice. Compliance views, reminders and expiry dates help you stay on top of obligations. They are not legal advice, and you remain responsible for meeting them.
- No fine payments. Rydr& tells you who held a vehicle and what is owed. It does not pay fines to authorities.
- OCR needs a person. Text read from uploaded documents is a suggestion until someone confirms it.
SOS is not an emergency service. The SOS button alerts your own team only. It does not contact the police, an ambulance or the fire service. In an emergency in the UAE, call 999 for police, 998 for ambulance or 997 for fire.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Rydr& available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance, and we will try to give customers notice of planned work.
We improve Rydr& over time, so features may change. We will not remove something a customer depends on without telling them first. Features marked as beta or preview may change or be withdrawn.
8. Fees
Fees for Rydr& are set out in each customer’s agreement. Using this website and requesting a walkthrough are free.
9. Intellectual property
We own Rydr&, including its software, design and the Rydr& name and logo. Using Rydr& gives you the right to use it as these terms allow; it does not give you ownership of it. Customers keep ownership of their data, as set out in section 5.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Rydr& without owing you anything for them.
10. Other services
Rydr& relies on some services from other companies, such as maps and push notifications. If you download our apps from the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple’s or Google’s terms also apply to the download and to your device. Apple and Google are not responsible for Rydr& or for supporting it.
11. Suspension and ending access
- We may suspend an account or a customer’s access if it breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will warn first.
- A customer can remove a user’s access at any time.
- When a customer’s agreement ends, access ends too, and their data is returned or deleted as the agreement says.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent the law allows, Rydr& is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will meet every need or that every record entered into it is correct.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or fines that arise from decisions made using Rydr&. Each customer’s agreement sets out our overall liability to that customer. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Dubai, unless a customer’s agreement says otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell customers directly. Continuing to use Rydr& after a change means you accept the updated terms.
